Strand Center For The Arts Presents "Annie"

(Lakewood, NJ) – The historic STRAND Center for the Arts and Phoenix Productions present Annie.  Leapin' Lizards!  The most popular family musical in history is coming to town!  ANNIE, the red-headed orphan, and her adorable dog Sandy will be on stage at the historic Strand Theater for two performances on April 30 at 2:00 pm and 8:00 pm.

ANNIE's cast of 30, starring Carly Nelson of Manahawkin in the title role, includes veteran performers Lauren J. Cooke (Miss Hannigan), Tom Frascatore (Daddy Warbucks), Jessica Lopez (Grace), Joe Caruso (Rooster Hannigan), and Jennifer Townsend (Lily) performing perennial favorites like "Tomorrow" and "It's the Hard-Knock Life."   Rounding out the cast is a very talented ensemble cast from over 200 who auditioned and "orphans" Ruby Riggio of Keyport, Samantha Chiarella of Holmdel, Lauren Kaufman of Marlboro, Carleigh Chirico of Brick, Jasmine Leoncini of Old Bridge, Gianna Pallante of Millstone, and Felicia Russell of Middletown.

"Sandy" is played by Oliver, handled by William Berloni of Broadway fame.  Mr. Berloni trained the original Broadway Sandy, and trains animals for stage, film and TV.  Mr. Berloni is renowned for training rescue animals and has won the American Humane Association Richard Craven Award for his humane treatment of animals.

Phoenix Production's ANNIE is sure to be a delightful theatrical experience for the entire family.  You can bet your bottom dollar that ANNIE will bring a smile to your face.
