First Issue of 2017 for New Jersey Stage Magazine

http://www.njartsmag.com

The latest issue of New Jersey Stage magazine is available for free at www.njartsmag.com -- this issue is for the film fan! We've got a preview of the New Jersey Film Festival Spring 2017, including features on Art of the Prank and The Northlander films; reviews of A United Kingdom and Split; plus the debut of a new column called JERSEY ON FILM in which we take a look at movies that involve New Jersey in a prominent way.  The first film examined is Danny Collins starring Al Pacino as an aging rock and roller who receives a letter from John Lennon (originally intended for him 40 years earlier).

We've got a feature on the rootsy, Americana band The Bitter Chills; tons of cd reviews; a music video by The Porchistas called "Mr. Chump" (a parody on you know who); the latest episode of Bongo Boy TV; a look at the Rock Against Hate compilation; and the answer to the eternal question of "Do musicians like performing 'Mustang Sally'?"

In addition, we have a theatre preview that looks at shows coming to stages around the Garden State.

The new issue is available for free at www.njartsmag.com and readable on any PC, tablet, or smart phone.  Designed like a traditional publication, but featuring audio and video to make the pages come alive!
