FOOTLIGHTERS CELEBRATES JOYS, SORROWS OF PARENTHOOD WITH MUSICAL BABY

(CINNAMINSON, NJ) -– Burlington County Footlighters explores the various emotions that come to expectant parents in the musical BABY, which continues the theatre's 73rd season January 21 – February 5, 2011. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 8 pm; and Sundays at 2 pm at The Playhouse, 808 Pomona Road in Cinnaminson, NJ.

Written by Sybille Pearson with music by David Shire and lyrics by Richard Maltby, Jr., BABY is a Tony-nominated musical that shares the stories of three couples at different stages of their lives who find themselves dealing with the painful, rewarding and agonizingly funny consequences of impending parenthood and the changes it means for their relationships.

Director Basha Gardner of Ambler PA heads the creative team which includes a trio of Cinnaminson residents: assistant director Torben Christiansen, choreographer Brenda Marie Kelly and musical director Peg Smith.

The cast includes Emily Huddell and Brad Kenny (both of Moorestown) as Lizzie and Danny; Andrew Flothmeier of Mt. Laurel and Brooks Black of Burlington Township as Nick and Pam; and Steve Phillips of Williamstown and Barbara Burke Sherman of Philadelphia as Alan and Arlene. They are joined by an ensemble featuring Matt Becker of Cinnaminson, Colleen Campbell of Egg Harbor, Beth Fox of Medford Lakes, John Paul Helk of Willingboro, Lori Howard of Mt. Laurel, Brenda Marie Kelly and Gina Petti of Beverly.
