STATE THEATRE PRESENTS ZZ TOP

(New Brunswick, NJ) -- State Theatre presents ZZ Top on Monday, November 18, 2013 at 8pm. ZZ Top will be performing their hits like "Gimme All Your Lovin," "Sharp Dressed Man," "Legs," and "La Grange" as well as songs from their newest album La Futura. Tickets range from $45-125.

Texas natives and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductees ZZ TopBilly F. Gibbons, Dusty Hill, Frank Beardhave been together as a band for over 40 years. With strong roots in blues, ZZ Top released ZZ Top's First Album and Rio Grande Mud. Their third album, 1973's Tres Hombres, catapulted them to national attention with the hit "La Grange," still one of the band's signature pieces today. By their next album, Eliminator, and its worldwide smash follow-up, Afterburner, they had harnessed the potential of synthesizers to their patented grungy blues groove, giving their material a more contemporary edge while retaining their patented Texas style.
