(Cape May, NJ) -- Cape May Stage presents one of the greatest Christmas classics of all time -- with a twist!
a life of greed and selfishness, Jacob Marley is condemned for all of
eternity. But there's a catch! If Marley can redeem the soul of his old
partner, the infamous Ebenezer Scrooge, he can save himself as well.
Accompanied by a spirit guide of sorts, Marley embarks on his quest in a
Christmas adventure that is equal parts funny and terrifying. An
irreverent and deeply moving retelling of Charles Dickens' classic story
with warmth and infectious zest, Tom Mula's Jacob Marley's Christmas
Carol is a tale sure to delight for generations to come!
enchanting production stars Jonathan Brody, who was seen last summer at
Cape May Stage in Time Stands Still. He has appeared on Broadway in
Monty Python's Spamalot and in the original companies of Titanic, Me and
My Girl, and Sally Marr and her escorts. He has also been seen on
National Tours, in regional theatres and on television shows like
Boardwalk Empire and Guiding Light.
A talented production team
joins Brody in bringing this heart-warming tale to life, including
Directing Resident Ben Ferber as Director; Lisa Shames as Stage Manager;
Managing Director Jon Wojciechowski as Scenic Designer; and Cyrus
Newitt as Lighting Designer.
