SONG CIRCLE MUSIC Comes To Grounds For Sculpture

(HAMILTON, NJ) -- BACK BY POPULAR DEMAND....Grounds for Sculpture is proud to present the famed New York Songwriters Circle (NYSWC) now known as Song Circle Music, (SCM) coming back for another of their very few appearances in New Jersey. www.songcirclemusic.com

A few years ago, Kathleen Falcey with Tunes2ya.com Unlimited, felt that people locally should be aware of the local talent we have right here in Central NJ and the surrounding areas of the state. Why should we have to travel to NYC and Philly for music, when we have excellent musicians right here in our own front yard?

Kat, as she is referred to in the music world, decided to approach Rena Perrone over at GFS and then Tina Schafer, the Director at the SCM, and combine a classy venue of the ARTS with yearly song writing showcases. Kat's only request was that she would be able to choose local NJ artists that she could highlight in this prestigious event with past SCM competition winners and achievers. www.tunes2ya.com

The very first show was last year on August 20th and was so successful, we are honored to bring this show back again this year, in hopes that, we will have this as a yearly performance. Music is an art form and I feel art lends itself to music, so there is no better place for this type of showcase to take place, than locally here in Hamilton, NJ at The Grounds For Sculpture, Kat says.

The Song Circle Music, under the producing and direction credit of Singer/Songwriter Tina Shafer, for the past 20 years, has become a legend in New York City's West Village, joining bi-monthly at the famed Bitter End Club.

For this years Grounds For Sculpture performance, the featured songwriters are Tina Shafer (acoustic guitarist/pianist), Gillian Grassie (harpist) Caleb Hawley (acoustic guitarist) Chris Ayer (acoustic guitarist) Patty Blee & Ernie Trionfo (acoustic guitarists) and local Trenton singer songwriter Keith Monacchio. (acoustic guitarist)

The singer songwriters will offer an engaging round, in an intimate listening friendly room and afterwards a special personal meet and greet, as cd's are signed and questions answered by each and every artist.

Admission is $20 Members; $25 Non-members. Purchase in advance by calling (609) 586-0616.
