Roxey Ballet will present the Holiday Classic "Nutcracker" this weekend

Roxey Ballet will present the Holiday Classic "Nutcracker" this weekend December 4th and 5th.
 
The Roxey Ballet's rendition of the Nutcracker is a true community production featuring the professional dancers of the Roxey Ballet Company, as well as more than one hundred children and adults from Hunterdon, Mercer, Somerset and Bucks counties.  The lavish production is a fun, lighthearted interpretation of the classic story that opens with Clara sleeping, dreaming of her handsome prince. After young Clara receives a wooden Nutcracker as a Christmas gift from a mysterious party guest, she finds herself in the midst of a battle between the Mouse King and the Nutcracker and his soldiers.After his victory, the magical spell is broken and Clara and the Nutcracker go on a voyage to the Land of the Sweets.

The cast is directed by Mark Roxey, Director of Roxey Ballet and the performances will be held on Saturday., December 4, 2010 at 3 pm and 7pm and Sunday Dec. 5, 2010 at 1 pm and 4 pm. These performances will be held at the College of NJ (TCNJ) located at 2000 Pennington Rd, Ewing, NJ 08618.
