The eternal love triangle that has been the cornerstone of Archie comics for almost seven decades is finally untangled in this seven-part story written by Michael Uslan, executive producer of the Batman films, and illustrated by veteran Archie artist, Stan Goldberg. It begins when Archie finds himself strolling up one path of Memory Lane and marries the wealthy and cultured Veronica Lodge. Later, we find out what happens when he strolls a second path up Memory Lane and marries the wholesome, peppy girl next door Betty Cooper.

"Archie has had its place in people's lives for generations and generations. People are shocked at how much these characters still mean to them."
-The New York Times

"The reaction to the Archie wedding story reminds us that comic book characters hold a special place in our collective memory," says Charles Kochman, executive editor of Abrams ComicArts, "we follow their lives and their decisions as we do those of our friends and family. We are thrilled to have this celebrated book on our list and present this timeless story in such a special edition."

In Archie Marries . . ., the pivotal series of seven issues is collected in hardcover, in a double diecut slipcase, and packaged with a reprint of a classic Archie comic. The book includes all-new supplementary material created especially for this edition, including new front and back cover art by Stan Goldberg, script outtakes, never-before-seen sketches, thumbnails, annotations, vintage covers, and exclusive interviews with writer Michael Uslan, illustrator Stan Goldberg, inker Bob Smith, colorist Glenn Whitmore, letterer Jack Morelli, longtime Archie editor Victor Gorelick, and Archie co-CEO Jon Goldwater.
