(New Brunswick, NJ) -- State Theatre
partners with Rutgers University's Mason Gross School of the Arts and
Zimmerli Art Museum to present three special events this fall. These
events include a performance by the top student jazz ensemble at the
Mason Gross School of the Arts, Rutgers Jazz Ensemble on Tuesday,
October 8; American Repertory Ballet in Romeo and Juliet with orchestral
accompaniment by the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra on Friday, October 11;
and Leonardo Live in HD, a high definition tour of the London's National
Gallery blockbuster exhibition, "Leonardo da Vinci: Painter in the
Court of Milan" presented in collaboration with Zimmerli Art Museum on
Tuesday, October 29.

The
Rutgers Jazz Ensemble joins this year's New Jersey Blues & Jazz
Festival line-up! The Rutgers Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of
Conrad Herwig, is the top student jazz ensemble at Mason Gross School of
the Arts. Joining the ensemble is Grammy Award-winning trumpeter Randy
Brecker, best known for his work with Blood, Sweat and Tears; The
Brecker Brothers; and Larry Coryell's Eleventh House.

The
American Repertory Ballet performs Artistic Director Douglas Martin's
brand new full length ballet, Romeo and Juliet. Based on Shakespeare's
tragic story, this performance features a company of 30 and Prokofiev's
lush score performed live by the Rutgers Symphony Orchestra led by
Conductor Kynan Johns, plus beautiful sets, and stunning costumes.

Theatre and Zimmerli Art Museum present a high definition tour of the
London's National Gallery blockbuster exhibition, "Leonardo da Vinci:
Painter in the Court of Milan" on a larger-than-life 46-foot screen. The
historic exhibition is sold out in London and, due to the fragility of
the paintings, the exhibition cannot tour. Captured live on the eve of
the exhibition opening in London this fall, Leonardo Live will provide a
high-definition walk-through of the landmark exhibition, in-depth
commentary about featured pieces in the exhibit, and extra content.
