Princeton Summer Theater Presents The 39 Steps

(PRINCETON, NJ) -- It seemed like a normal evening at the theater for Richard Hannay, until a chance meeting with a mysterious woman in the audience plunged him into the world of international espionage!  From the novel by John Buchan and the movie by Alfred Hitchcock, Patrick Barlow's stage adaptation of The 39 Steps is an eruption of delicious noir spoofery and physical comedy.

Director/Choreographer Jeff Kuperman's daring production stretches the imagination to the limits as it celebrates the versatility of four fearless actors performing more than 100 roles.  This side-splitting spy adventure has something in it for everyone, from plane crashes to love affairs.  Princeton's Summer Theater's The 39 Steps runs July 18th-28th.  Performances are Thursday-Saturday at 8pm, and Saturday and Sunday at 2pm.  Tickets are $25, $20 for students.

This Friday, PST continues its 2013 Young Artist's Workshops series for children aged 6-12.  This week's session is Creating a Character, exercises in voice and movement.  PST offers its Young Artist's Workshops every Friday through August 9th from 1:30-4:30pm.  $35 per workshop, drop-ins always welcome!  Register by emailing princetonsummertheater@gmail.com.
