"Anything, Anything" hosted by Rich Russo has found a home on Sunday nights on both 107.1 WXPK FM and 105.5 WDHA FM. The top-rated "free form" radio show will continue to play rare, underground music tracks of fan's favorite artists as well as local artists – with a healthy does of Russo's stories and brash viewpoints on the state of music.
On Sunday, September 18, the show made its debut on 107.1 WXPK "The Peak" in Westchester County, NY. The show airs live on Sunday nights from 9:00-11:00pm EST and will stream online at www.1071thepeak.com.
Starting Sunday, October 2, "Anything, Anything" will begin airing on 105.5 WDHA "The Rock of NJ" in Northern New Jersey on Sunday nights from 11:00pm-1:00am and will be streamed online at www.wdhafm.com.
"I am honored ‘Anything, Anything' will be back on two legendary radio stations – WXPK in Westchester and WDHA in Jersey," said Russo. "Both stations are leaders in breaking bands and deeply connecting with their audiences. I am proud to have the opportunity to keep free form radio on the commercial dial."
The Cranford, NJ resident fittingly named "Anything, Anything" after the hit song by Dramarama. The show first came on the air in 2008 on WRXP in New York City. The "free form" show quickly grew with a devoted listener base as the result of Russo not having any restraints on his program setlist - along with it's raw and gutsy feel. He will regularly dig into one of his over 100,000 albums that live in his personal music library. When Russo is not the studio, you may find yourself sitting next to him at a Bruce Springsteen show (over 400 live shows) or Pearl Jam show (over 100 live shows).
