An Evening with the Monkees CANCELLED

(New Brunswick, NJ) -- The State Theatre announces the cancellation of An Evening with The Monkees, originally scheduled for September 8, 2011. The band's booking agent informed State Theatre management that, effective immediately, all remaining dates on the tour are cancelled. The theater has no further concrete information or details regarding this cancellation.

Ticketed customers have the following options:

** Exchange tickets directly into another State Theatre presented event or receive an exchange credit valid for any State Theatre presented event for up to one year from the date of exchange. No exchange fees will apply to this transaction.

** Receive a full refund, including fees. If customers choose this option, the theater will credit the card used to purchase the tickets. The theater will refund ticket purchases made by cash or check via check by mail.

** Customers can also donate their tickets back to the State Theatre as a tax-deductible contribution.

Customers should contact the State Theatre Ticket Office with their decision prior to September 8, 2011 by phone at 732-246-SHOW (7469), email info@statetheatrenj.org, or in person at 15 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick, NJ 08901.

The State Theatre ticket office, located at 15 Livingston Ave, New Brunswick NJ, is open Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 10am to 6pm; Wednesday 11am to 7pm; Friday 10am to5pm; and at least two hours prior to curtain on performance dates.
