Stringbean's Van And Equipment Stolen In Asbury Park

We're passing on this information in the hope someone might be able to help Ken Sorensen, better known as Stringbean.  His van was stolen in Asbury Park with all of his gear inside.  There is a good chance whoever did this will try to sell the equipment in the area, so we're asking musicians to be on the watch for:

  • a 1958 Gretsch hollowbody electric guitar
  • an Ampeg Reverberocket w/ a nylon rope jury-rigged handle and a Samson pa/mixer/head
  • various harmonicas, mics, cables & stands.

The van is a grey/silver Ford E350 (stretch) that had been converted for cooking oil.  The license plate is MXM64G

Stringbean has fronted the popular Jersey Shore band Stringbean & the Stalkers for many years. Please help circulate the news and keep a look out for the van and gear.
